Bannock

Over fire

Bannock is a typical indigenous bread. Each reserve and community has its own recipes, but they are very similar. What is great about this bread is that there is no rising, no kneading and it is cooked directly in the pan.

Our accommodations

Unusual, but including Wendat values to allow visitors to discover this fascinating culture, my accommodation, located approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from the Quebec bridges, offers the possibility of staying in a longhouse or a teepee.

Longhouses and teepees

Custom-made with 100% cotton canvases reinforced with water-repellent, flame retardant and resistant with larch poles. The interior will be comfortable and suitable for a family in a Wendat decor. There will be slow combustion stoves that will add to the well-being and atmosphere.
